My first Baptism

Sorry that I didn't email last week internet just wasn't working and I didn't really have time either. P-days are a mess, they are so busy, it is just kinda annoying. Most of the time we don't end up doing very much, usually we just play basketball or something like that. I got my package last Monday, it might have been in the mail before that but i didn't get it. Thank you soooo much for that. It is just what I needed. I have been craving Nutella since I left home, it has just been burning a hole in my belly. Thank you for the ties they are sweet, I love them. Thank you soo much for the ctr rings the kids are going to love them.
If you could it would be awesome to get some soccer balls I think the kids would love it. I think I need some sunglasses, because it is really bright here. What would be awesome is a huge bag of huba buba. The kids love gum, and I have already given them all my gum and candy. I buy gum for them all the time.

Now if you got my picture like I hope that you did, you are probably thinking, "Your not aloud to go swimming in the ocean" I had my first baptism on April 13 2013! I can't even tell you how amazing it was. I said the prayer in Chuukese not one mistake. I did have to do it twice though because her dress was to big so there was as air bubble when I dunked her. Her name is Narcein, she is the cutest little girl, but all of the kids here are super cute. It was the most amazing experience that I have ever had, I hope that I get to do lots more.

So this week we had Zone conference, and no we still haven't seen the real conference. Our mission president came down here, and a member of the quorum of the 70, from Japan Elder Yamashita. They talked to us and gave us a little training, it was way awesome. He is a really awesome guy and super funny.
I love president Mecham and his wife they are so nice and loving. They really love serving the lord.
Dad I love all of the dear Elders that I get from you they are awesome. I can always look forward to getting at least one of those a week. I love it I hope you keep it up. I loved all of the letters from the boys, soooo awesome.
So Elder Kleven is actualy in my district so I get to see him every week for district meetings and p-day. The island that I am on is called Weno, but in chuukese n sounds like a d so it is pretty much wedo haha. There is an Elder Rainey in my district he is Elder Kleven's trainer. He is super awesome we are way good friends. He pretty much is into all the same stuff as me, snowboarding, wakeboarding, skateboarding. When he was younger, he played club and high school soccer. He wants to go to BYU Hawaii and play soccer after his mission. We get along really well. I love my companion, we are rocking the Wichap area. They are going to need to build a bigger church in Wichap when i get done here. I am doing pretty good with the language. I still don't understand that much, but I can pray and share my testimony. I do it every chance that I get, to everyone that I meet.
I love it here, I am thankful every day for this wonderful opportunity to serve the lord.
I have a challenge for you. It is something that I have been doing, because I love it and it keeps the spirit with me always. So what I want you to do, this goes for all of you reading this. I want you to try and pray every hour, I know that seams like a lot, but you can just say little prayers. You will feel the blessings I know that i have, blessings upon blessings upon blessings.

I love you all Love Elder Hunter

Chuuk Wichap Branch

HEY EVERYBODY is it still cold in utah because it never gets below 80 here and I freaking love it. I have not had a problem with the heat yet, I love it. I was born to live in this climate, even nights I sleep like a baby and we don't have AC at all we just have a fan which is pretty nice.
I don't even know where to begin, I am just loving it here so much, I am having so much fun.
My companion is great, he knows chuukese soooo good and he is so good with all of the people but especially the kids. I love the kids here they are the best thing about this place, they love me already even though I only know a little bit of chuukese they teach me more and more every day.
Almost no one knows english only a couple of kids that have just picked it up from missionaries and such and then people that have lived in Guam and the US. I think that makes it easier to learn the language because you don't have the option of speaking in english.
I want to know chuukies soooo bad, and I am working so hard to learn it. I am putting everything in the Lords hands and I am seeing where he wants me to go and what he wants me to do. I can already feel the blessings and I feel the spirit so much. I get prompted to do little things all the time and if I do them it turns out to be awesome. On Saturday I told a bunch of kids that they better come to church and they didn't really understand me but I have got really good with talking with my hands and Elder Huppe told them. Most of them showed up, and it was an amazing testimony meeting, the spirit was so strong and even though I couldn't undrstand most of it, it was awesome. I even bore my testimony in chuukese!!!! yeah crazy right, I wrote it out but I only looked at it a couple of times. I love my little Wichap branch I love it here.
Ok the food I bet you are wondering a lot about the food and this strange stuff called bread fruit. They call it mai and it is super good I love it, I could it it all day. So what the do with it is they peel it, then the cook it, and after they cook it they call it tipin, which i think is sooooo good. Then they take the tipin and then pound it with a hammer looking thing (po) and they pound it until it looks like play dough or pretty much just like bread dough. They call that kon. That is pretty much the same as tipin just a different texture and a little sticky, but it is so good and filling. I also drink a lot of coconuts or nuu, I love them so much, I make the kids climb the trees and pick me lots so our fridge is pretty much full. We also eat a lot of rice, beans, tuna, and spam, not a big fan of spam. Oh and the fish here is super good, didn't like fish until I tried the fish here, but not sardines ugh gross. Oh I forgot to tell you more about the kids, they all love music. They walk around with speakers and there usbs or ipods and just blast music and they are all soooo good at dancing even the little kids. It is sooo sweet Britni would Love it here. So where we live is pretty much the cool place to be, because of the open space, the church and the basketball court. The rim got ripped  off by me dunking it to hard. Every night and most of the day it is a party at our house and they just hang out dance and chill. It can be really annoying when I'm trying to sleep.
I love you all so much tell Britni and her family I love them. I miss you all!
